conmeet raises €6 million to build the AI operating system for trades and construction

Reimann Investors Venture Capital and Smedvig Ventures co-lead the round. conmeet replaces the patchwork of disconnected tools that trades and construction firms rely on with a single, AI-centric platform that runs the business from first quote to final payment.

BORKEN / MUNICH / LONDON, 03rd of August 2026 – conmeet has closed an oversubscribed €6 million Seed round to accelerate the rollout of its AI-centric operating system for trades and construction businesses. Reimann Investors Venture Capital and Smedvig Ventures co-led the round, which comes just six months after conmeet's Pre-Seed financing led by May Ventures.

The round generated significant interest from investors, driven by conmeet’s early market traction and a founding team that pairs first-hand industry experience with complementary technology and scaling expertise. The new capital will allow conmeet to build on this momentum, accelerate expansion across the DACH region, deepen the product, and grow the team. May Ventures, the lead investor in the pre-Seed round, remains a shareholder in conmeet.

Trades and construction companies typically run on a stack of disconnected tools, with separate systems for estimating, orders, procurement, scheduling, site management, controlling and invoicing. The result is duplicated data entry, manual handovers, and little visibility across the business, at a time when a deepening skills shortage and rising demands on productivity and documentation are already stretching firms thin.

conmeet positions itself as the central AI operating system for mid-sized trades and construction companies. The platform targets businesses with 10 to 500 employees in the DACH region and brings projects, construction sites, change orders, materials, partners, subcontractors, scheduling, documents and finances onto a single data foundation. Instead of stitching together separate tools for each step, customers can run their entire business in conmeet, from first customer contact through procurement and execution to payment. Because every part of the business then works from the same data, the office, commercial teams and the site all draw on one live source of truth.

conmeet’s platform architecture and unified data model have been designed from the ground up for AI-powered automation. Rather than being bolted on as a separate add-on, AI is integrated directly into operational processes and already automates a range of recurring workflows today. Going forward, the focus will be on further AI-centric functionality that can act within defined roles, approvals and budgets, running whole workflows end to end rather than just surfacing information.

“Trades and construction companies do not need yet another tool. They need one system that runs their entire business,” says Benedikt Kisner, Co-Founder and CEO of conmeet. “AI is now creating entirely new possibilities: processes can not only be represented digitally but also automated intelligently and increasingly executed autonomously. Because conmeet is built on a shared data foundation and an architecture designed for AI from the ground up, we can integrate these capabilities directly into companies’ day-to-day operations.”

conmeet was founded in mid-2023 by Benedikt Kisner, Leandro Ananias and Lennart Eckerlein and was initially developed through two years of self-funding. Kisner previously built the netgo group into a company with more than 1,300 employees. Eckerlein founded and managed a mid-sized trades business and contributes first-hand operational experience from the target industry. As CTO, Ananias is responsible for the platform architecture and the unified data model on which conmeet’s AI-centric automation is built. This provides the technical foundation for representing and managing the entire business in one system.

“Trades and construction form a large vertical software market with specific processes that cannot be served by generic point solutions,” said Samuel Schuler, Managing Director at Reimann Investors Venture Capital. “conmeet addresses these problems with a central system and a team that combines unique domain expertise across the trades, company building and software development. This combination was decisive in our investment decision.”

“conmeet combines a stellar founding team with deep roots in their domain, and a clear opportunity to build the modern, AI-centric operating system the industry has been missing,” said Peter Duffy of Smedvig Ventures. “They have already built a product with the depth to handle the complex workflows these businesses run on, and we see the potential to reshape a large market in Germany and beyond.”
